The Songwriters Association of Canada contracted Wired Solutions to develop a brand new web-presence for their organization.  The project requirements were to provide a custom website design, content management system, a member management system, event management and many other common elements found in other organizations websites.

Aside from the standard design and portal modules, Wired Solutions developed custom software for Songwriters to have their songs assessed by veteran songwriters via the Song Assessment application.  This web-based tool allows songwriters to post songs to the system, pay a fee, and have staff delegate which song assessor should assess each song.  The assessor in turn listens to the song right within the web-interfaces, then critique the song via an easy to use assessment system developed by us.  Once the song assessment is complete, the system generates a PDF report and sends it directly to the songwriter.

Another custom element of site is the ability for music managers to create an account and request songs for movie scenes or commercials.  Song requesters fill out an easy to use request form, and the system generates a notification to songwriters of the request.  Songwriters can then pitch up to 2 songs per request in hopes of the music manager choosing their song to be used in the production.
