What’s Happening with the Wired Solutions Team?

The Wired Solutions Team has been busy finishing up the website for the Town of Amherstburg. The coffee has been flowing just as much as the creativity the past few weeks and the project is coming to a close on our part. “Accessibility was a major issue with this project,” says head designer Tamara Hayes, “in the end we feel that the site meets accessibility standards while maintaining an inviting look.”

With the Holidays just around the corner, Wired Solutions recently held their staff Christmas party at Mancuso's. It was a fun night and everyone relaxed and enjoyed the amazing food. And, it wouldn't be a Wired Solutions Christmas without an office Christmas tree decorated with yellow light bulbs, and festive blue and white decorations.

Two of our team members, Susan and Stacey, recently joined the Women’s Economic Forum (W.E.F). W.E.F is a way to create opportunities for professional women to meet and interact with women who have similar goals and interests. Both are excited to be a part of W.E.F, which has been around for over 25 years.

Measuring your Websites Performance

Do you know how many people visited your website last month? Do you know where those people were from and do you know when they left your site?

Your answers aren’t that far away. Google Analytics can offer insight into where your potential customers go when they get to your site, how much time they are spending on your site, whether those visitors have been there before or not, and even tell you what city they are from. It might be useful to know that your business based in Ontario is getting more Michigan visitors than Canadian visitors to its website. All of this information can be used in your next marketing campaign, help you update your website, run a successful Google AdWord campaign, and help you make important decisions about your business.
