Wired Solutions has put together a team for the 2009 Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life. We’re joining the biggest cancer event to make the biggest difference! We will be walking in an all night relay to support this great cause. Your Sponsorship of Wired Solutions will go toward life saving Cancer research, and support for those fighting Cancer.

1. If you a have a company brochure or catalog, offer a downloadable PDF on your website, rather than a hard copy that could easily get lost, or thrown out.
2. Offer email sign up as an alternative to a traditional mail out. Email is a great way to stay in touch, it’s friendly on your budget, and friendly for the environment.
3. Is there a new green practice in your industry? Then tell people about it by updating your website. Consumers are always looking for ways to save money and energy.
4. If you want to offer the ability to print website pages, make sure you ask your website developer to create a CSS print style sheet. This will ensure that only necessary information is printed, and not unnecessary images that can waste a lot of ink.
5. Encourage website visitors to pass along a link to your website, rather than print pages for your site, by offering a “Forward to a friend” link on your website.
