Go for Health Windsor Essex

Reducing the high rate of chronic disease, mental illness, and injury through the advocacy and support of healthy living is the mandate of the Go for Health Windsor Essex coalition. This unique partnership of community stakeholders worked closely with Wired Solutions to design and develop a custom content managed web presence for the community.

The site, powered by Wired CMS, contains the regular page editing, news and events management. In addition, we also developed a custom module that allows the public to post ‘Success Stories’ about their journey to a healthier lifestyle. We developed the module in a way that allows the public to post the stories, but stories are not displayed until they go through an audit by the site administrator. Adminstrators are notified of new submissions, and are then able to verify the submission, adjust any wording/typos and finally approve the story for display on the public website.
